We spent our first full day at sea crossing the Denmark Strait, the same route once taken by Viking explorers. The day unfolded at a relaxed pace, with lectures and briefings providing insight into Greenland’s landscapes, wildlife, and history. Some scanned the waves for whales and seabirds, while others took quiet moments on deck or enjoyed the panoramic views from the Explorer Lounge. This was a day for settling in and embracing the spirit of exploration.
