The entrance to Haines was through a spectacular fjord, with magnificent mountains cloaked in snow. The weather was fine, and the town welcomed us with a charming warmth that could be felt in the air. The town itself was very inviting, but the real beauty lay in being completely surrounded by a stunning mountain range in every direction - a true spectacle to behold. Some local guides shared fascinating stories about the town’s history, while others set off on exciting excursions around the area. How can Alaska be so beautiful? This day was truly hard to beat and will remain in our hearts forever.
