The entrance to Haines was through a spectacular fjord, with magnificent mountains cloaked in snow. The weather was fine, and the town welcomed us with a charming warmth that could be felt in the air. The town itself was very inviting, but the real beauty lay in being completely surrounded by a stunning mountain range in every direction - a true spectacle to behold. Some local guides shared fascinating stories about the town’s history, while others set off on exciting excursions around the area. How can Alaska be so beautiful?
