Today was such a remarkable way to finish our adventure. We reached Alert Bay on Cormorant Island, and the weather was absolutely fantastic. Some of us took a van, whilst others walked for about half an hour to the “Namgis Traditional Big House,” where the Kwakwaka'wakw people performed the most unique cultural show we have had during this voyage: the fire in the middle, the dancing, the beautiful clothing, the symbolism… they even invited us to dance around the fire with them! Everything made for an incredible experience.
