After lunch, Spitsbergen repositioned to the dramatic setting of Loch Scavaig, nestled at the edge of the Isle of Skye. Once ashore, we walked along the coastline of Loch Coruisk, where the rugged peaks of the Cuillin mountains rose steeply around us. The scenery was raw and powerful—classic Highland beauty.
A smaller group tackled a challenging hike around the loch, navigating boulder-strewn trails and narrow paths for an unforgettable panoramic view of the area. Whether taking it slow or pushing further, it was a day full of movement, landscape, and the unique energy that comes from being deep in the heart of the Hebrides.
