In the morning, we arrived at an extraordinary location, anchoring near a picturesque town nestled between the mountainside and the fjord. The sight of multi-coloured buildings, many perched on stilts driven into the lakebed or shore, was nothing short of breathtaking—a view that will be hard to forget. For the adventurous, a hike up to the summit offered a challenge that mirrored the hardships faced by the conquistadors who explored the area in the 16th century. Others took to the water, kayaking through the stunning landscapes, before finishing their adventure with a leisurely walk through the charming town, taking in the sights and sounds of this unique place.
