In the afternoon, we prepared for our landing on Astrolabe Island in the South Shetlands. The expedition team carefully managed our disembarkation, calling us by boat groups and giving us the opportunity to roam on the pebble beach among Weddell Seals, Chinstrap Penguins, and fantastic rock formations. As the day came to a close, we gathered in the Lecture Hall for information about the next day's plans. Our Antarctic adventure continued to amaze us with its blend of scientific discovery, historical insights, and breath-taking natural experiences.
