We met the history of the conquest of Antarctica and a lot of outdoor activity. Quite a few of us faced the snowshoes and set off on a march through the snowy hills at Damoy Point. In the evening, some of us were lucky enough to experience spending the night off of the ship, just in a tent. The spirit of Amundsen's expedition surrounded us throughout the night.
