We embarked in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, Arctic Canada. Once on board, we got to know the various members of the diverse departments aboard the ship. We picked up our expedition jackets and rubber boots and attended the mandatory safety briefing. After long days of travel and filling meals in the restaurant, we retired to our cabins and took some rest in preparation of the adventure to come. Our journey begins with sailing towards Gjøa Haven.
