Today, we were extremely lucky with the weather. We arrived in the early morning at Beechey Island on a sea that was calm as a lake, and the light of the still low-standing sun was warm and golden. We got everything today! History, landscapes and wildlife! We walked from the Northumberland House towards the graves of the famous Franklin Expedition. We spotted a Gyrfalcon, and some even saw an Arctic Hare. Some went on a hike to the plateau and admired the view from a height of 180m. During the afternoon, we sailed to Radstock Bay, which has amazing landscapes and a huge group of beluga whales and another polar bear on the shoreline.
