This morning, we landed at the southernmost tip of Chermsideøya, which is above 80 degrees North! We could see some geoglyphs that were put there by different expeditions over the years, ranging from 1898 to 1942.
We experienced real Arctic weather for the first time with some rain and wind, but that didn't stop some of you from doing a Polar Plunge in these high latitudes.
After lunch, we visited Isflakbukta, where we could visit an emergency cabin, which was much smaller than the others we had seen. We also collected many kilos of garbage from the beach and around the landing site, helping clean up Svalbard.
Afterwards, we continued our navigation towards the east of the archipelago and into our next adventure.
