Early in the morning, we conducted our first nature landing in Magdalenafjorden. We visited Gravneset, which is home to around 130 graves of whalers. They are buried here, along with approximately 200 years of whaling history.

We saw four blubber oven remains from the same historical period—one of Svalbard's most remarkable cultural landmarks. Some of us also enjoyed our first kayak adventure—quite an experience in this remote landscape.

After lunch, we landed in Bjørnfjorden, a little further North of Gravnsesen. Here, we could walk on top of a glacial moraine and a glacier and admire the view of the glacier, which was very active during our time there. We also saw a bearded seal, and some of us enjoyed kayaking in these waters.
