We sailed back to Kongsford (Ny Ålesund) to fill up our water tanks as the ship was experiencing some issues with its reverse osmosis mechanism. We then landed at beautiful Alkhornet, a bird cliff at the entrance to Isfjorden. It was a challenging landing with a steep, rocky path leading to the cliff's flat, vegetation-covered base. We also had a big group that hiked from the landing site to Trygghamna. Most of our guests got up close with some reindeer in the area.
