Days at sea give guests an opportunity to kick back and relax while enjoying informative lectures from our Expedition Team. The Science Centre and lecture hall were bustling with curious minds. Many guests borrowed a book to bolster their Alaskan knowledge. As we picked up our new pilots in Seward, Cape Resurrection towers over the Amundsen with many rocky headlands and even an abandoned WWII bunker set high atop a rocky pinnacle.
