Our journey begins in a very Icelandic manner with sideways rain, gusty winds and rather chilly temperatures. Passengers and crew are ready and eager to embark on our Greenlandic adventure. As we sail out of Reykjavik, its tall cathedral and deep-green mountainsides bid us farewell. A salty breeze and several sea birds welcome us to the Denmark Strait, followed by five beautiful orcas just a couple of hours into our crossing.
