One of the highlights of our journey along the West Coast of Greenland was the ice fjord south of Ilulissat. Many guests were outside in the early morning hours to find the ship curving smoothly around a carpet of ice. A fantastic morning sky awarded the early birds. Using our tender boats to reach the port of Ilulissat, the icebergs and local fishing boats challenged our arrival at the little pier. Once in Ilulissat, most guests went on a fantastic boat ride through the immense icebergs.
