The early morning brought a wakeup call for the campers at Damoy point before the ship continued its way through beautiful Paradise Bay up to Orne Harbour. Orne is situated on the actual Antarctic continent. A steep hike in serpentines up the hill brought us to a colony of chinstrap penguins. A lot of brash ice was drifting towards the landing site which made it a real adventure to return back to the ship with the zodiacs pushing through the ice. The deck and expedition team drivers kept us safe at any time.
