Today in the morning we where at Cape Horn, the southern most point down here. Well, in a sense not right, since cape Horn is on an island. The southern most point of Chile is Águila Islet of the Diego Ramírez Islands. We could not get the pilots on bord which we needed to land at Cape Horn, so we set sail for Puerto Williams to check in to Chile. While we where sailing to Williams, we continued the citizen science project EBird out on deck with George. We learned about the Antartic ice sheet from Laura and Candice gave us a behind the scene tour of the ship. We arrived at Puerto Willams at 16.45 and many of our guests took the oppertunity to stroll around the southernmost town of the world.
