The days seem to whirl by and Falklands feels like a lifetime ago. But there is more to see and do. On one of our last stops we manage a landing in Port Charcot where the legendary French Antarctic Expedition spend a winter. It is a day where the weather shows its true Antarctic qualities, reminding us that this is not a friendly place by any stretch of the imagination. The second half of the day we manage one last zodiac cruise where, to all our utmost relieve, we encounter the elusive Adellie penguin, thus completing the penguin bingo! It has been absolutely great so far in the Antarctic, but all good things must come to an end.
