Portal Point was just magical. Not only was the landscape amazing with its glaciers, its impressive marvelously shaped icebergs, but also the wildlife was incredible. We saw fur seals on the landing site, some the whales… OH THE WHALES! They were showing themselves left and right. And Ted, our expedition photographer, took one of the most incredible shots ever: a couple of humpback whales showed their dorsal fins, and right behind them you had these massive icebergs shaped just like their humps themselves! How many times in life can you find such gorgeously unique and ephemeral symmetry in nature?
