Today we visited Brown Bluff, at the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. This was our first continental landing, and we could not have wished for a better one. The highlight of this place was by far the never-ending number of Adelie penguins walking in every direction and jumping to the water all together. After lunch at Hope Bay, we witnessed a spectacle straight out of another documentary: hundreds and hundreds of penguins feeding alongside so many whales! Both close encounters with wildlife were the stuff dreams are made of!
